The CML Alliance is committed to providing access to CML medications available from Novartis Oncology to those patients meeting financial eligibility requirements. In addition, we provide resources to facilitate the reimbursement process for physicians and their patients.
Through a variety of programs, including the Novartis Patient Assistance Program (PAP), and Novartis Oncology Reimbursement Hotline we have made a firm commitment to ensuring patients get the CML treatments they need.

By calling 1-800-282-7630, providers and patients can receive assistance in resolving reimbursement issues and concerns.
The following are the support services provided through this hotline:
- Insurance Verification - The program verifies patients' medical benefits, helps determine insurance coverage, and clarifies co-payment obligations.
- Denials/appeals - The program assists providers in obtaining appropriate reimbursement.
- Coding/billing questions - Program staff can assist providers with questions regarding coding and billing.
- Alternative funding searches - Program staff can search for possible assistance for patients with insufficient or no drug coverage and refer to other sources of funding that may help alleviate or reduce costs.
Novartis Patient Assistance Program (PAP)
In 2007, Novartis Oncology was proud to provide $88 million of free product to over 9,000 patients in need in the U.S through the Novartis PAP. The program provides assistance to US residents meeting eligibility requirements.
Patient eligibility requirements:
- US residency
- Meets financial eligibility requirements
- No prescription drug coverage (public or private)
- Exception process exists for patients who cannot afford their Medicare Part D cost share

Co-Pay Assistance
