Effectively communicate and educate patients, caregivers, and their families about disease characteristics and the risks and benefits of treatment^1-3
Provide easy-to-follow dosing schedules¹
Actively address adverse events,³ be aware of concomitant medications,³ and understand the risk of drug-drug interactions³
Provide information on how to contact the oncology staff for guidance³
Enroll patients in an adherence program³
